A remote control is included with the fireplace. Press the top right and bottom left buttons simultaneously and hold for about 5 seconds. If all goes well, you will hear a regular beep. Check in the center of the fireplace if the gas burner ignites. If so, the fireplace will turn on.
The button in the upper right corner shows a large flame. Press that button for 3 to 4 seconds. If it is good, it will turn on again.
